Your Assignment: Choose one line from the reading last night that you believe has the strongest effect on you. Then, create a paragraph-long post (8 sentences minimum) that shows how you analyze this line.
When you 'analyze' something, you first come up with questions in your own mind that you believe this line from the book could evoke. Then, take those questions further and further until you are able to come up with a revelation, an insight, or just a conclusion. Use the Bloom's Taxonomy (Bright yellow sheet) that we have referred to all year for probing questions.
This exercise is to practice your analysis skills, but more importantly, you ability to draw even more thoughtful insight from a single line. Consider the presentations we watched this week and see if you can draw more out of the line. We will spend the entire class tomorrow discussing your topic and hopefully, your quote will really spark some thoughtful conversations.
